HOWTO: Tweak OpenOffice to load up and work faster
Open up OpenOffice Word Processor. Go to Tools > Options. Select memory in the sidebar.
- Set number of undo steps to 30.
- Under Graphics cache section, set Use for OpenOffice.org to 20MB
- Memory per object to 5.0MB
- Cache for inserted objects to 20
